22 Barracuda Spam Firewall Installation Guide
ISP Installation Deployment
This deployment type is typically used by Internet Service Providers. The Barracuda Spam Firewall
is configured to interact with these providers.
In this deployment, the Barracuda Spam Firewall detects all network traffic. The proxy server
connects directly to the Barracuda Spam Firewall LAN port. The Barracuda Spam Firewall scans for
all inbound and outbound HTTP traffic from the proxy server. All outbound traffic on other ports are
scanned for normal spam communication. Figure 2.2 illustrates the ISP Installation Deployment. .
